Celebrating its 100th anniversary in the 4th year of Reiwa, "Ryokan Wakamatsu" was established in Hakodate in Taisho 11 (1922). For nearly a century, it has been cherished as a long-established Ryokan offering the finest hospitality in Hakodate Yunokawa Onsen. In Showa 29, it was honored to host His Majesty the Emperor during his tour of Hokkaido, and in recent years, it has been awarded one star in the "Michelin Guide Hokkaido."     This is a quiet, relaxing Accommodation overlooking the Tsugaru Strait. The meals were especially delicious, with each dish carefully prepared. The tableware also reflected the value and tradition of a Ryokan. With heartfelt service, it was a very comfortable stay.Thank you very much.

    I stayed at this Accommodation at the end of June.Overall, I was extremely satisfied.At check-in, I was served delicious matcha. The staff were great to talk to and showed thoughtful, subtle hospitality. The meals I had been looking forward to were truly wonderful in both presentation and taste. The salted squid served at breakfast was especially delicious. I also enjoyed the bath while listening to the sound of the waves.Thank you very much.

    About Fuel Surcharge Charges

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of our Accommodation.
    We regret to inform you that we will be revising some of our fees.

    In recent years, energy costs such as electricity, water, and gas have risen significantly, and our Accommodation has also been affected.
    While we have made every effort to maintain our facilities appropriately and improve our services to provide guests with a more comfortable stay,
    we are no longer able to cover these increases through our efforts alone.

    From Tuesday, August 1, 2023, a fuel surcharge will be charged separately from the accommodation fee.
    To minimize the burden on our guests as much as possible, we have set this charge at the lowest possible rate.
    The amount to be paid on-site is as follows:
