Yumesaki, a kaiseki Ryokan, is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood slightly away from Beppu’s downtown—one of Japan’s leading Onsen destinations. The sukiya-style building is surrounded by a lush garden. To ensure attentive hospitality for every guest, we welcome only six parties per day. The Accommodation Fee includes a welcome drink; use of three types of free-flowing natural hot spring baths; access to the lounge (including the library); local sake; coffee; herbal tea; and other soft drinks.

Along the refreshing, water-sprinkled stone-paved approach, guests are welcomed by seasonal flowers and the soothing fragrance of agarwood and sandalwood.

Step into a softly lit interior that soothes the soul, complemented by an artfully designed courtyard garden. In our newly opened lounge, enjoy your favorite drink while browsing books about the local area. Relax and unwind as time gently flows by.
We carefully prepare each dish to let you savor the flavors of the season. Please enjoy it with locally renowned sake selected to pair well with your meal. Meals are served in a private dining Room or delivered to your Room.
A total of six Rooms: four authentic Japanese-style sukiya-zukuri Rooms and two special Rooms newly added in 2020. Every Room offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
