  • A lovely Accommodation in the forest

    A Bali-style villa stands on a vast property. It even has a pool and is truly wonderful—I never imagined there would be an Accommodation like this in Ibusuki.Just taking a walk around the huge grounds was a delight.The pool is nicely deep, and there is an open-air bath right next to it, so we had a great time going back and forth between the pool and the bath. The meals were also thoughtfully prepared and excellent.It’s a place I would definitely love to visit again.

  • I felt a bit uneasy ...

    I felt a bit uneasy at first because the Accommodation description mentioned insects and access... The access route takes you along mountain roads, and I wondered if we would really make it—but we arrived safely using Google Maps. It’s an Accommodation in the mountains, and it was refreshing to spend time surrounded by nature, with birds even coming by. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed local Kagoshima dishes. We also used the open-air bath in nature many times and were able to relax comfortably. The staff were very attentive as well. Next time, I’m planning to stay in a different type of Room.

Surrounded by trees, you can enjoy the blessings of nature—abundant natural Onsen water and the quiet broken only by birdsong—but insects also share this environment. As a result, insects may occasionally enter your Room. We appreciate your understanding that this is a place where they live as well. If you contact the main building (front desk), we will come and help return them to nature. If you are uncomfortable with insects, please carefully consider this Accommodation before booking.

    • About access
    If you set “Yuri-an” on your car navigation system, it may show roads that are not passable by car, so please do not use it. As you approach Yuri-an, there will be a winding mountain road. Please drive up slowly while enjoying the birdsong and fresh air.
