At Okawaso, a new onsen facility has been established where you can immerse yourself in warmth to your heart's content. The terraced rice field-style open-air bath 'Shikibutai Tanada' offers a sense of unity with the beauty of the valley. Spacious indoor baths. Two saunas, the 'Gorone-style Bakuhanseki Sauna' and the 'Pink Salt Sauna,' with far-infrared effects to relieve fatigue from deep within the body, have also opened simultaneously. A spa room for women is also available, allowing you to enhance your beauty during your travels and refresh both body and mind.
The service was excellent, and the meals were delicious. One of Okawaso’s highlights—the shamisen performance—was very soothing, and there was also a comfortable place to sit and enjoy it at a relaxed pace, making it a wonderful memory. The staff were all welcoming with lovely smiles, and their guidance was clear and easy to follow.
ムササビ侍 7/25/2026Traveled with my parents for a Mother’s Day trip.The Onsen is spacious, and the open-air bath feels wonderfully rustic.The view from the room is also breathtaking.Perhaps due to manga, the lounge has many fans and children.The service is excellent, full of Japanese-style hospitality.There are shamisen and shogi available, and everyone enjoys them in their own way.The breakfast buffet also offers a great variety of local dishes and is delicious.
