Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Sea of Japan from your room, along with seasonal cuisine made with the finest local ingredients.

The opening of Yuno Hama Onsen dates back to the Tenki era (1053-1057), tied to the legend of a giant turtle and a fisherman. Blessed with the natural scenery of the Sea of Japan and its bountiful seafood, it has developed since ancient times as one of the three delightful landscapes of Oshu. Among the large Hotels and Ryokans facing the Sea of Japan stands the seaside Property Ikkyu. Established in Showa 18, it underwent a complete reconstruction in July of Heisei 3 and was reborn with a new appearance in April of Heisei 17.

  • The ocean view from the Room was beautiful. After doing the evening exercises, it no longer hurt to turn over in bed, so I’d like to keep doing them. The Onsen was also very relaxing, and I was able to unwind. I’d love to visit again. Please consider allowing guests to bring dogs as well!

  • We enjoyed dinner while watching the sun set over the Sea of Japan. The delicious local cuisine from Yamagata was outstanding. The Onsen has a refreshing feel on the skin and warms you thoroughly. At night, a short fireworks display was launched from the beach right in front of the Ryokan, and we enjoyed it from our Room window.
