Futarishizuka: The Inn of the Forest Where Birds Play

Time seems to slow down during your stay, making it a soothing and relaxing place. A small number of Rooms are scattered throughout a spacious forest, letting you escape the noise of everyday life. The staff also speak in a calm, unhurried manner, which creates a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The Room is exceptionally well equipped, with an open-air bath, an indoor bath, a sauna, and even a footbath area.The meals are also excellent—among the best I have experienced at any Accommodation.I would definitely like to stay here again.

I had some errands to take care of in Kagoshima, and since I love Kirishima Onsen, my mother, sister, and I stayed here—an Accommodation I’d been wanting to visit for a long time.Although it has apparently been around for about 20 years, you would never guess it.Everything is carefully and lovingly maintained, and both the Room and the garden are spotless.The Onsen is gentle with a slight iron content, leaving your skin wonderfully moisturized.And of course, the food is delicious!Beautifully presented and absolutely superb in taste.The morning curry was truly amazing—I’d love to have it again.Listening to the birdsong was soothing in itself, and with the Onsen and meals we were able to fully relax—this was a truly restful Accommodation.Modern conveniences are also thoughtfully provided, so there was no inconvenience at all.We’ve already decided to come back in a different season, so we look forward to staying again.
