This was my long-admired Accommodation, and my first visit.I was truly able to relax in a space where all I could see from the Room was greenery, and all I could hear were the calls of cicadas.The two large public baths had slightly different temperatures between the indoor bath and the open-air bath, so even I, who am not fond of very hot water, could choose what suited me.The meals also featured seasonal ingredients beautifully and were absolutely delicious.I sincerely appreciate the staff’s thoughtful, unobtrusive hospitality.I would love to return in a different season.

In spring, enjoy plum and cherry blossoms; in summer, wisteria and fresh greenery; in autumn, colorful foliage; and in winter, camellias, experiencing the seasonal transitions.
Yugawara is surrounded by the majestic Sagami Bay and the mountains of Hakone, offering a treasure trove of rich ingredients. Enjoy fresh seafood from nearby waters, including Manazuru, and locally grown organic vegetables, prepared using methods that enhance the natural flavors of the ingredients.
The nine wooden Rooms exude a warm and tranquil ambiance, each with its unique charm. They offer views of Hakone's mountains and a lush garden that embraces nature. The interiors are beautifully serene, adorned with seasonal touches like wildflowers and hanging decorations.
The design incorporates the villa-era building and integrates nature, offering views of Mount Iwatoyama and Jukkoku Pass, spreading across gentle slopes with the main building and detached areas.
