This year, my wife invited me, and we stayed here for a birthday trip for our son and me. Compared to a year ago, there were more foreign staff members, but I could really feel how hard everyone was working. This year again we chose the [Premium] “Chef’s Selection – Carefully Chosen Ingredients” course featuring spiny lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef. The sashimi was outstanding in both taste and freshness, and I was extremely satisfied. The other dishes were also creative and delicious. The Room was a Shiracho-kan Japanese-Western style room; it was very practical, thoroughly cleaned, and comfortable to stay in. The Onsen temperature suited my preference perfectly, and since it was Friday there seemed to be fewer guests, so I could enjoy it almost all to myself—it felt wonderful. I’m always very satisfied with my stay every year, but this time I noticed two things: the Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu didn’t have the usual impressive flavor I look forward to, and the toilet (washlet) in the Room felt quite old and wasn’t functioning well enough. Since I would like to continue staying with you in the coming years as well, thank you in advance for your continued hospitality. Thank you very much indeed.

The location was excellent. From the Room, the lobby, and even the elevator, we could enjoy beautiful views of Ise Bay, which was truly moving. The view from the lounge was also lovely, and I wish it had been available for longer hours. We chose a Japanese-style Room, and both the Room and tatami were clean, so we felt comfortable throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the Onsen, including both the large public bath and the open-air bath. The late-night Ise udon as well as the ice cream and coffee were delicious. The Ryokan staff were kind and made us feel at ease. It was also very convenient for visiting Futami Okitama Shrine, Ise Grand Shrine, and Toba Aquarium.The salmon at breakfast was large, filling, and delicious. Next time, we plan to choose a Plan that includes dinner. We’re very happy to have found an Accommodation we’d love to stay at again after such a long time. Thank you very much.
