The view from the Room feels like you’re in Okinawa or even Hawaii. The bath with an ocean view was amazing, and the toilet was surprisingly impressive.The spiny lobster sashimi at dinner was outstanding. The spiny lobster miso soup for breakfast and the freshly grilled dried horse mackerel were also very delicious.We’ll definitely be back.

It’s not fancy, but it has a warm, homey feel—like coming back to your grandparents’ house. The location is so close that Yumigahama feels like a private beach. The seafood meals were fresh, generous in portion, and delicious. Thank you very much.

At the southernmost tip of the Izu Peninsula lies Yumigahama, a stunning white sandy beach that gracefully forms a bow-shaped curve. Selected as one of Japan's 100 Best Beaches, it showcases a vivid contrast between the blue sky and sea and the white sand. This rare beach is also a nesting site for sea turtles. While it bustles with swimmers in summer, its serene and tranquil winter scenery, with crisp air and calm surroundings, is equally captivating.
The open-air bath by the shoreline is our pride. In addition to the private open-air baths in the guest rooms, please also enjoy the open-air bath attached to the large communal bath. With a direct entrance from the beach in front to the large communal bath, you can easily rinse off seawater and sand, which is highly appreciated.
At our facility, all Rooms feature open-air baths and ocean views. We offer traditional Japanese-style Rooms and Western-style Rooms with beds. Enjoy a relaxing moment surrounded by the ever-changing sea scenery depending on the season and time of day.
You will enjoy dishes made with fresh seafood, a specialty of Minami Izu, and the blessings of the Izu mountains.
