An accommodation in the historic land of Aizu, offering unique daily cuisine and natural hot spring baths.

Time flows, and the scenery shifts with the changing seasons. Step away from the bustle of everyday life and enjoy a serene moment of hospitality. In Aizu, a land that lives on through history, this Onsen Accommodation continues to uphold the spirit of hospitality with carefully crafted cuisine and authentic Onsen. Our creative Japanese cuisine is prepared each day using the finest local and seasonal ingredients delivered to our kitchen daily—resulting in a menu created “for that day only.” Meals are served in a private dining room or in your Room, so you can relax and enjoy without concern for others.

  • When we entered the Room, we were amazed by the spacious entrance. We were also impressed by how new the tatami mats felt. And we were delighted by the size of the private open-air Onsen attached to the Room—it was one pleasant surprise after another. We chose the light dinner Plan, but it was so filling that we wondered if this was really a “light” portion. The Fukushima beef shabu-shabu was delicious, and we also enjoyed local specialties. We were able to use the baths at Harataki next door as well, which made us very satisfied. When we visit Higashiyama Onsen again, we would love to stay here again. The staff were cheerful and courteous, and our stay was very comfortable.

  • I chose this Ryokan for its reputation as a culinary destination. Each dish, made with local ingredients, was crafted with care and had a delightful homemade touch—it was incredibly delicious. The shabu-shabu meat was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Locals I met at the Onsen also mentioned that the cuisine here is the best in Higashiyama Onsen. The Shuttle Service to the Akabeko bus stop was much appreciated. Since it was the first snowfall of the season, I also enjoyed the beautiful snowy scenery. Our Room consisted of two connected spaces: a Japanese-style room and a Western-style room. However, when we closed off the Japanese-style room at the back, it became difficult to hear the intercom from there. After taking a bath, I almost got locked out of my Room by accident—quite nerve-wracking!
