An accommodation in the historic land of Aizu, offering unique daily cuisine and natural hot spring baths.
Time flows, and the scenery shifts with the changing seasons. Step away from the bustle of everyday life and enjoy a serene moment of hospitality. In Aizu, a land that lives on through history, this Onsen Accommodation continues to uphold the spirit of hospitality with carefully crafted cuisine and authentic Onsen. Our creative Japanese cuisine is prepared each day using the finest local and seasonal ingredients delivered to our kitchen daily—resulting in a menu created “for that day only.” Meals are served in a private dining room or in your Room, so you can relax and enjoy without concern for others.
When we entered the Room, we were amazed by the spacious entrance. We were also impressed by how new the tatami mats felt. And we were delighted by the size of the private open-air Onsen attached to the Room—it was one pleasant surprise after another. We chose the light dinner Plan, but it was so filling that we wondered if this was really a “light” portion. The Fukushima beef shabu-shabu was delicious, and we also enjoyed local specialties. We were able to use the baths at Harataki next door as well, which made us very satisfied. When we visit Higashiyama Onsen again, we would love to stay here again. The staff were cheerful and courteous, and our stay was very comfortable.
にくまんぷりこ 5/4/2026I chose this Ryokan for its reputation as a culinary destination. Each dish, made with local ingredients, was crafted with care and had a delightful homemade touch—it was incredibly delicious. The shabu-shabu meat was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Locals I met at the Onsen also mentioned that the cuisine here is the best in Higashiyama Onsen. The Shuttle Service to the Akabeko bus stop was much appreciated. Since it was the first snowfall of the season, I also enjoyed the beautiful snowy scenery. Our Room consisted of two connected spaces: a Japanese-style room and a Western-style room. However, when we closed off the Japanese-style room at the back, it became difficult to hear the intercom from there. After taking a bath, I almost got locked out of my Room by accident—quite nerve-wracking!

Introduction of the Accommodation

All guest Rooms are quiet Japanese-style Rooms with tatami flooring—perfect for enjoying a slow, relaxing stay. In addition to standard Japanese-style Rooms, we also offer guest Rooms with a private Onsen bath fed directly from our own hot spring source. Choose the Room that suits your needs, including baths made of fragrant Aomori hiba wood or Shigaraki ware. Enjoy the Onsen anytime, as many times as you like, in complete privacy.

Creative Japanese cuisine crafted with fresh ingredients delivered to our kitchen daily. Featuring the best seasonal produce as well as an abundance of local Aizu ingredients, our head chef proudly presents a variety of signature dishes. Because each day’s menu is created around the finest ingredients available that day, even in the same season you can enjoy dishes that can be tasted “only on that day”—a unique pleasure found only at Konjakutei. In winter, we use local winter vegetables; seasonal fish and shellfish are delivered directly from the Toyosu Market; and we also feature premium Fukushima beef graded A4 or higher—bringing the season to your table for a feast to delight both eyes and palate.

A rare Accommodation in Higashiyama Onsen with its own private hot spring source. Fresh, high-quality Onsen water flows directly from the source into a granite bath. We offer only a small indoor bath, but the exceptional water quality comes highly recommended even by Onsen sommeliers. Once you experience a truly authentic soak, you’ll want to return again and again—relax and rejuvenate both body and mind in our signature Onsen.

By the clear Yūkawa stream flowing through Higashiyama Onsen, we offer a transparent waterside dining venue where water, light, wind, and the night sky come together. Surrounded by nature’s ever-changing beauty, spend a special time with those close to you. Enjoy your memorable Aizu trip with dining in an extraordinary setting. Enchanting lights create the charm of dusk. We welcome guests with blazing bonfires. *From Golden Week: Dinner until late September; Lunch until late October.*
