It was pouring rain in the Kanto area that day, so I wrapped my suitcase in plastic, but it got tangled around the wheels and made it hard to roll. When I arrived at the hotel, I borrowed scissors and struggled with the front desk staff to remove it, but we couldn’t, so I gave up and went out as it was. When I came back to check in, they greeted me with a wonderful smile and said, “We got the plastic off!”—and my suitcase was rolling smoothly again. I really appreciate how far they went to help.As for the hotel itself, it feels a bit old, but it’s well maintained and I didn’t feel any inconvenience. Breakfast is partly buffet-style; a Japanese set meal is prepared in advance, with lots of local dishes that were very delicious. It’s a little far from the station, but I think it’s well worth staying here. I’d like to use this hotel again.

At Bellino Hotel Ichinoseki, with safety as our top priority, we understand and follow the intent of Iwate Prefecture’s guidance and guidelines, and have implemented the measures below.
We look forward to welcoming you and appreciate your cooperation.
1. Request for hand sanitizing
While we regularly disinfect the Hotel’s Facilities and equipment with alcohol-based sanitizer, alcohol hand sanitizer is also available at the entrances to each Facility. We kindly ask all guests to sanitize their hands.
2. Alcohol disinfection
We regularly disinfect areas frequently touched by guests, such as elevator buttons, restroom buttons, door handles in public spaces, and other contact points throughout the Hotel.
3. Regular ventilation
We ventilate regularly to bring in fresh outside air.
In addition, as a measure against airborne viruses, CO2 clathrate gel has been placed in various locations within the Facility.
4. Health check sheet and temperature screening at check-in
In accordance with guidance from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, we provide a health check sheet at check-in and ask guests to complete it.
We also take temperatures using a non-contact thermometer; depending on the results, we may decline Accommodation.
5. Suspension of buffet-style breakfast
Buffet-style breakfast service is suspended until further notice.
6. Employee health management
We pay close attention to employee health management and instruct staff to wash hands frequently and gargle regularly.
7. Masks
Some staff members wear masks when assisting guests.
