といけ 9/21/2026I stayed in the Suite Room Classic on the Executive Floor HOURAI. The Room has been renovated to an appropriate extent, but some Facilities and built-in fixtures remain unchanged, and I felt it would be better if a bit more attention were given even to the most noticeable areas. The open-air bath in the guest room was comfortable, but I think it could become even better if, at the next renovation, the bathtub were made larger and raised a little more. The view from the Room was wonderful, and since it was unexpectedly sunny on the day of my stay, I was able to fully enjoy watching the sun set into the Sea of Japan. I had a great conversation with one of the male staff members who assisted me; he told me he used to visit my hometown frequently in his previous job, and we had a very enjoyable time. Dinner featured plenty of local ingredients, and you could really tell that everything had been carefully prepared with time and effort. It was also excellent that champagne was provided despite being complimentary. However, while the wine was from Yamagata Prefecture, its taste was somewhat disappointing—which is a shame. I would have appreciated having one more option available; even something from the New World would have been fine. Although it was a fairly expensive Room, this Accommodation delivered quality worthy of its price, and I left very satisfied.

The 11th floor, our topmost level, is the exclusive HOURAI floor. Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM, allowing for a 21-hour stay. Guests staying at HOURAI have access to a private lounge. Check-in and check-out services are provided in the private lounge. During your stay, beverages, lounge access, and Ryugu-den sauna usage are all inclusive.
Long ago, an injured turtle bathed in the hot springs on the sandy beach, marking the beginning of Yunohama Onsen. After recovering and returning to the sea, the hot springs spread throughout the area. This legend is also the origin of the name "Kameya" and has been healing people for approximately 1000 years.
