An Accommodation where you can enjoy free-flowing hot spring bathing, with an open-air bath in every guest room.

Nurtured by pure water and brought to fruition with the help of many hands, "rice" symbolizes the heart of people. At "Tao Shin An Komeya," we have incorporated the character "rice" into our name to honor this sentiment. With heartfelt hospitality, the bountiful seasons created by pristine water, and the ever-flowing hot springs of Ito, we pursue the luxury of carefully selected quality in savoring, enjoying, and relaxing.

  • The round-trip Shuttle Service was available, which we really appreciated. It’s in a quiet location, so we were able to relax. All the staff we met were polite and provided excellent service. As others have mentioned, the meals were the best we’ve had among all Kyoritsu Group properties we’ve visited. Since spiny lobster was unavailable due to the closed season, abalone sashimi was served instead—everything tasted great, and the portion was surprisingly generous. One small concern: right after check-in, at the open-air area of the rock-bath public bath (toward the back), there were quite large dead insects (beetles and moths). Given the natural surroundings it may be unavoidable, but I’d appreciate it if that area could also be checked more carefully.

  • The meals were the best of any Kyoritsu Resort Accommodation I’ve stayed at so far. I was completely full and skipped the late-night soba for the first time. For the simmered splendid alfonsino hot pot, I thought it would be convenient to have one more bowl without sauce, so you can enjoy the ingredients without any sauce, but otherwise there were no issues; the portions were more than enough, and everything was delicious, including (of course) the sashimi. Not only our Room, but also the stairs, hallways, and dining area were clean and well maintained, which felt very comfortable. The private open-air bath in the Room was right next to the washroom, so it was easy to access without getting cold; I used it many times.Things that other Kyoritsu Resorts had but this one didn’t included ice cream and various drinks.Canned mandarin orange juice and a lactic acid bacteria drink were available after bathing.Rather than beer, I would appreciate having complimentary mineral water stocked in the refrigerator at twice the number of guests.

"Five colors, five tastes, five methods" are the basics of Japanese cuisine. Enjoy the "five colors" of red, green, yellow, black, and white visually, experience the "five tastes" such as sweet and spicy through taste, and incorporate the techniques of the "five methods" like boiling and grilling. We adjust to the unique flavors of the ingredients' "season" to deliver the best to our customers.

Thank you for choosing Taishian Komeya.
Regarding the private baths that were closed due to tree damage in January 2024, we have conducted thorough investigations and discussions for reopening. However, considering safety concerns, we have decided that reopening in the same location is not feasible.
We deeply apologize for this announcement after such a long wait.

Currently, we are exploring options to establish private baths in a different location.
We will provide further updates once details are finalized.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
