It was a wonderful stay. The serene atmosphere and the warm welcome from the staff were truly soothing, and soaking in the hot natural spring left me feeling refreshed from the inside out. The meals served in our Room were exceptional, and I was completely captivated by the delicious, beautifully presented dishes. I’ve already promised my mother and sister that we will definitely come again! I’m so glad we found such a lovely Accommodation.
This wonderful Accommodation made us feel truly elegant. The food was delicious—beautiful kaiseki cuisine and Oita Wagyu shabu-shabu were outstanding. It is a charming, atmospheric Accommodation that perfectly matches the image of where you would want to stay in Yufuin. We would love to stay again.

At Tanokura, to provide you with greater relaxation, we have newly installed open-air baths in all Rooms on the first floor.
A small garden awaits you, where the seasonal flowers and plants fill the air with their gentle fragrance. The nostalgic scent of traditional Japan forms the essence of relaxation at Tanokura.
An Accommodation Tax is scheduled to be introduced starting in fiscal year 2027. We will inform you of the start date once it is Done by Oita Prefecture.
Please note that both the Accommodation Tax and Hot Spring Tax must be paid on-site.
