A new style of Ryokan inheriting the tradition of Kinosaki Onsen "Nishimuraya".

The expansive beauty of a 50,000-tsubo garden embraced by lush forests. The charm of hot springs with the spirit of nature. Thoughtful hospitality to fulfill your travel desires... Combining 160 years of Nishimuraya's history with the vision of a new era "Japanese Hotel," Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei was born. Please enjoy a serene moment surrounded by the nature of Kinosaki.

  • All Hotel staff were very kind. Also, during dinner at Sanpou Nishimuraya, they explained the ingredients and cooking methods in detail, and we thoroughly enjoyed the seasonal dishes. After checkout, a staff member found an item we had left behind in our Room and kindly delivered it all the way to Kinosaki Onsen Station, which was a great help. Thank you very much.

  • Everything about the Facility felt spacious and relaxing. The Room was almost too large to justify, and it was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our meals in a private dining room with our friends (a married couple), and we truly savored the elaborate dishes. (The morning curry was delicious as well.) We also enjoyed Nishimuraya’s sake. Perhaps because it wasn’t crowded, the large public bath was wonderful, and we were able to soak at a leisurely pace. The perks were great too, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Our friends who came from the Kanto area were visiting Kinosaki for the first time, and they left saying, “It was amazing—I want to come again.” We also bought lots of vegetables at the morning market as souvenirs for neighbors. Thank you very much.Have the amenities changed?

Notice from the Accommodation

[Regarding Bathing Fee Collection]
At Nishimuraya Honkan (or Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei), starting from stays on or after April 1, 2020, we have begun collecting a new "Bathing Fee" in addition to the traditional "Hot Spring Tax" at the time of payment. We kindly ask for your understanding.
- The Hot Spring Tax (150 yen/person) is a tax used for purposes such as protecting hot spring sources, firefighting, and waste disposal. This tax is paid by our accommodation to Toyooka City.
- The Bathing Fee (280 yen/person as of April 1, 2023) is a fee used for maintaining facilities such as external hot springs and the distribution systems supplying onsen water to ryokans. This fee is paid by our accommodation to Yushima Zaisanku (a special local public entity).
