Directly connected to JR Takasaki Station—just a 1-minute walk from the ticket gates to the Hotel lobby. Hotel Metropolitan Takasaki is a highly convenient “hotel above the station.” Inside, you’ll find a refined and comfortable space, wrapped in soothing piano melodies.
I was very satisfied with both the Room and the service. I arrived by car and initially wondered if it would be inconvenient to park at the east exit even though the Hotel is at the west exit, but it turned out to be very convenient. Since I used the station when coming and going, it was easy to buy souvenirs or return extra luggage to my car smoothly. It was disappointing that guests cannot make a Reservation for parking (as the lot gets crowded on weekends, I thought it might be difficult to park again after leaving during a Multiple Night Stay), but I would like to stay here again next time.
The location was very convenient, with direct access to the station. It was kept clean, and I was able to sleep well.

Restaurant
Our restaurant/café has been renovated with a casual, open design to create an inviting space you can enjoy anytime. Lunch is served in an order-and-choose buffet style. With separate smoking and non-smoking areas and private rooms available, it is ideal for business entertaining as well as family gatherings.
Room
We have renovated our guest rooms to offer the refined space and comfort expected of a city Hotel, and increased the number of rooms by 11, bringing the total to 141. We have also enhanced security measures to ensure you can stay with peace of mind.
Exterior wall construction will be carried out at the commercial Facility located on the west side of our Hotel. As a result, work-related noise may occur during nighttime hours.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during your stay and appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation.

Guests staying with us may use:
・“Times Takasaki Station Car Parking Facility” (Takasaki Station East Exit, under the Shinkansen overpass)
・“JR Takasaki Station West Exit Parking Lot” (right next to the Hotel)
Parking fees:
For “Times Takasaki Station Car Parking Facility,” we will cover 24 hours from entry for JPY 500 per night.
For “JR Takasaki Station West Exit Parking Lot,” we sell a parking voucher at a discounted rate (JPY 200 per hour).
Example: For check-in at 15:00 to check-out at 11:00 the next day, the total is JPY 1,200.

In recent years, incidents involving smoke or fire caused by mobile power banks have been reported both in Japan and overseas. To ensure all guests can enjoy a safe and comfortable stay, we kindly ask for your cooperation regarding the use of mobile power banks in guest rooms.
Please refrain from using or charging mobile power banks in the following situations to help prevent fires or other emergencies:
- Charging while you are away from the room (e.g., when going out)
- Using or charging near windows exposed to direct sunlight
- Using or charging on flammable materials such as beds or sheets
- Using a mobile power bank that is damaged, swollen, or unusually hot
When charging portable electronic devices from a mobile power bank, or when charging a mobile power bank using the in-room power supply, please do so in a location where you can keep it under constant observation so that any issues can be detected and avoided at an early stage.
Please note that during room cleaning throughout your stay, if our staff finds any of the above situations and determines it is necessary for safety reasons, they may relocate the mobile power bank and/or stop its charging.
