Founded 440 years ago. Our open-air bath, offering sweeping views of the mountain range from the upper floors, is a highlight unique to our Accommodation. We offer three private baths and a wide variety of guest rooms with distinct styles. In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. Please enjoy our hospitality and cuisine, refined over many years, for your special moments and lasting memories.

    My first time at Ikaho Onsen.It was wonderful!!The staff were welcoming from the parking area, and in the lobby we were greeted by the robots Udon-chan and Komugi-chan. Check-in was relaxed, and starting off with the amenity buffet—where we could try a variety of items—was a fun touch.After enjoying the private bath, we had a leisurely meal. I had noted that this stay also served as an appreciation gathering, and after dinner they kindly showed consideration for us—my friend was truly delighted. Thank you very much!The Onsen offered two different types of baths to enjoy, and having towels available in the bathing area made it very convenient.The Facility has a bit of a Showa-retro feel, but it was spacious and comfortable to relax in.We stayed with an IKYU limited Plan, which included services such as colorful yukata rentals, and my friend said it was genuinely great!!Everyone said they’d like to stay again, and we agreed it’s an Accommodation we’d love to recommend. The staff were attentive, and guests of all ages seemed to be enjoying themselves.Thank you for taking such good care of us.

  • Private Bath “Fuwari”

    Notice: Private Bath “Fuwari” Temporarily Closed Due to Earthquake Impact

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Ikaho Onsen Fukuichi.

    Due to the earthquake that occurred on June 16, 2026, a Facility malfunction has affected the private bath “Fuwari,” and it is currently unavailable.
    We are working toward restoration; however, as we do not yet have an estimated timeline for completion, we will suspend use of the private bath “Fuwari” until further notice.
    Please note that our other private baths and public baths remain available as usual.

    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to guests who were looking forward to using “Fuwari.”

    We will provide an update once a restoration schedule has been confirmed.

- Joetsu/Nagano Shinkansen "Takasaki Station" → Joetsu Line "Shibukawa Station" (approx. 25 minutes) → Ikaho-bound bus (approx. 30 minutes), get off at the final stop "Ikaho Onsen" or "Ikaho Harunaguchi."
- Limited Express Kusatsu/Mizukami: From "Ueno Station" → JR Joetsu Line "Shibukawa Station" (approx. 1 hour 45 minutes) → Ikaho-bound bus (approx. 30 minutes), get off at the final stop "Ikaho Onsen" or "Ikaho Harunaguchi."
