Welcome to Property Onsen Hakone Ashinoko Washintei Toyogetsu, a Sukiya-style inn overlooking Lake Ashinoko and encountering the beautiful moon. Each of our services is a heartfelt message conveying our feelings to each guest.

  • I’ve been wanting to visit in every season since my last stay, but our schedules never lined up, so we ended up returning in July again. The cedar-lined path from the Accommodation to Hakone Shrine felt cool and refreshing even under the strong sun, and we were lucky enough to hear the evening cicadas singing—reminding me once again how wonderful Hakone is. Even during dinner we could occasionally hear them; together with the thoughtfully prepared dishes with elegant seasoning and the recommended sake, it made for a truly luxurious time. The next day, after enjoying a healthy breakfast carefully prepared, we were kindly driven to Motohakone Port. From the deck of the pirate ship, we cruised while looking at Mt. Fuji and fully enjoying the cool breeze. We’ll be back again.

  • This was our second stay since visiting a few years ago. We loved having both dinner and breakfast served in a private Room, which let us relax and enjoy our meals without any worries, so we had been hoping to return—and we were truly looking forward to this visit. We had seen photos of the renovated Room, but when we were shown in on the day, we were deeply moved by the view from the window. The Room was even more wonderful than we imagined, and we appreciated having hojicha and sencha provided; both were delicious.Although it rained during our stay, it didn’t feel humid at all—in fact, it was pleasantly cool. We hardly needed to use the air conditioner and slept very well.As for the meals we had been anticipating, we were amazed by how fresh every ingredient was. The sashimi was especially delicious. We are also grateful for the staff’s courteous service during mealtimes. When we mentioned that this was our second visit, you promptly arranged a Reservation for the private bath and kindly accommodated our preferred time—thank you very much. We hope to visit again in autumn, and would appreciate your continued hospitality then as well.

Remarks
Two private family baths named "Moon" and "Star" are available. To ensure safety for small children and expectant mothers, we intentionally do not use Onsen water. Instead, we use natural water drawn from a 100-meter-deep underground water vein of Mount Komagatake (Iwakageyama), heated to a skin-friendly temperature. This natural water, which is also the source of the mineral water "Hakone Mountain Natural Water," is soft water rich in mineral content and has even been featured in the media as luxurious beauty water. Available hours: 15:00–23:00 / 7:00–9:00 in two sessions. Reservations can be made on the hour. (Usage time: 50 minutes) Fee: 2,000 yen (excluding tax) per session.
