    We were extremely satisfied with this Accommodation. The moment we stepped into the Room, an ocean-blue view opened up right in front of us! The Room was even more spacious than we imagined—so wonderful that we were truly impressed. The staff member who assisted us was very kind, and the explanations were easy to understand. The meals featured fresh seafood, and we especially loved the Matsusaka beef grilled on a ceramic plate—it was delicious. The bath had a silky texture and made for a deeply relaxing time. This is a flawless Ryokan. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. We would love to return again.

    I stayed on the Suikei floor, and not only were the views and the atmosphere of the Accommodation wonderful,but I was continually impressed by everything—from the quality of the meals to the attentive service from the staff.

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Kashikojima Hoshoen. We sincerely appreciate your support.

    At Kashikojima Hoshoen, in order to become a Ryokan where more guests can enjoy an even more comfortable stay, we will be carrying out Facility upgrades and renovation work in some guest rooms starting May 6, 2026.

    We will remain open during the construction period; however, with guest safety as our top priority, we will proceed with the work with the utmost care. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

    1. Wednesday, May 6, 2026 – Early July 2026 (scheduled)
    2. Monday, August 24, 2026 – Early November 2026 (scheduled)

    Scope of Work

    1. Kayou Wing: Renovation of guest rooms on the 5th floor (16 rooms total)
    2. Kayou Wing: Renovation of guest rooms on the 4th floor (16 rooms total)

    After completion of the renovation work, the Kayou Wing’s 4th and 5th floors will reopen as the “Superior Floor ‘Aikei’” guest rooms.

    Please note that construction periods and business hours may change depending on progress.

Sodium Chloride and Bicarbonate Onsen (Hypotonic, Mildly Alkaline)

Neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive disorders, hemorrhoids, sensitivity to cold, recovery after illness, fatigue recovery, and general health promotion. With a heat-retaining effect and containing baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), it may also help promote smoother skin.
