Hotel Monterey Nagasaki
Nagasaki Prefecture/Nagasaki CityEnjoy a romantic stay at a Portugal-themed Hotel inspired by Nagasaki.
Hotel Monterey Nagasaki, located near the sea, is a hotel filled with the travel charm associated with Portugal, deeply connected to Nagasaki. Under the shining sun, we promise a romantic travel moment that feels like wandering into an alley of a medieval town. The building is beautifully adorned with blue tile murals meticulously painted by Portuguese artisans.
Located near the sea in a historic area including Oranda-zaka, the location was excellent. From the Room window, a solemn white statue of the Virgin Mary could be seen standing quietly, and perhaps because Nagasaki is such a special place, I felt relaxed, healed, and somehow cleansed. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant on the same grounds were delicious, and for a trip with female friends, this Monterey Hotel—with its lovely interior—was truly satisfying.
モカモカ* 8/3/2026I stayed for two nights while sightseeing in Nagasaki.Glover Garden and Chinatown are within walking distance, and even if you get tired from walking, it’s very convenient because Oura-Kaigandori Station is right near the Hotel. The Room was clean and comfortable, making it an enjoyable trip.
