As part of our response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we place our guests’ safety first and have implemented the following measures. ■ Basic Policy - We thoroughly avoid crowded, closed, and close-contact settings and maintain strict hygiene management to prevent infection. - We operate on a reduced scale—including limits on Reservation capacity and shorter business hours—to reduce opportunities for infection. ■ Measures to Avoid Crowded, Closed, and Close-Contact Settings - We may restrict entry as needed in areas where congestion is confirmed or anticipated. - Meals will be changed from buffet style to set menus (for the time being). - We will increase spacing between restaurant tables as much as possible. - Some Facilities will be temporarily closed. - Spa Facilities will be operated with improved ventilation. - Windows will be opened as appropriate to enhance airflow. *For operating details of each Facility, please see “Notice of Changes to Operations.” ■ Safety & Hygiene Measures - In the Hotel building and kitchen areas, we conduct cleaning and disinfection using disinfectants/sanitizers, alkaline electrolyzed water, and acidic electrolyzed water. In particular, during all guest room cleaning we disinfect high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, drawer/refrigerator handles, remote controls, switches, etc.). - Alcohol-based sanitizers are installed throughout the Hotel. - Staff wear masks while serving guests; gloves are also worn in food preparation and beverage service areas whenever possible. ■ Requests for Guests / Our Measures for Guests - At check-in, we ask for your cooperation with temperature screening and a health questionnaire. If you do not meet the questionnaire requirements, we may request that you refrain from staying with us. Guests with a temperature of 37.5°C or higher will be refused Accommodation in accordance with national guidelines. ■ Measures for Employees - We strictly manage staff health and hygiene (temperature checks before coming to work and record verification). Employees with fever or poor physical condition are required to stay at home. - We reinforce daily infection-prevention practices: masks; gargling; handwashing; avoiding touching eyes/nose/mouth; refraining from entering places that involve any of the “three Cs,” etc. - Staff are instructed to refrain from non-essential business trips or overseas travel and from attending gatherings/events involving unspecified numbers of people as well as workplace dinners/meetings. ■ Notice of Changes to Operations - Private-use Jacuzzi: Temporarily closed (reopening date undecided) ■ Free Shuttle Bus from Okayama Station Passengers with a temperature of 37.5°C or higher at boarding will be refused boarding in accordance with national guidelines. *The above measures may change depending on future outbreak conditions and policies issued by the government or relevant authorities.
