Located in the serene area of Koriyama, Bandai Atami Onsen has been renowned as a "beauty-enhancing hot spring" since the Kamakura period. "Suzukane" is a small, hidden hotel where you can enjoy both onsen and exquisite cuisine. Step inside its modern Japanese-style architecture resembling an art gallery, and you'll find seven detached rooms surrounding a lush courtyard (two of which are maisonette-style). Each room features unique color themes and sophisticated interior design. All rooms come with spacious natural onsen baths that feel far beyond what you'd expect from in-room facilities. Additionally, there are open-air baths available for both men and women to enjoy.
The Room was very spacious and extremely comfortable, with a water dispenser and even a mini-kitchen.\nAs you would expect from an auberge, the meals were outstanding in both presentation and taste.\nThe staff were also very pleasant, and I would definitely like to visit again.
怜奈ばあば 8/5/2026Although it rained, we thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen and the meals. The Room was more than spacious enough for two people. We ended up not using the Japanese-style room at all and were able to relax in the living room and bedroom. The meals were described as a Japanese menu, but they were creatively prepared in many ways and were delicious. The hostess’s service was excellent, and her information about Miharu cherry blossoms in spring was invaluable. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again in a different season.
