A hot spring property on Sado Island, established as a restaurant during the Ansei era, where you can enjoy a charming time.

Waka gaeri no Yu Sado Kamo Onsen Located on the shores of Lake Kamo, offering a prime location with views of the Osado and Kosado mountain ranges, we welcome you with heartfelt hospitality and seasonal cuisine, cherishing the traditions of the restaurant "Yoshidaya." The sodium bicarbonate hot spring, rejuvenating Onsen, and Kamo Onsen will soothe your travel fatigue.

  • My companion has difficulty walking, so we inquired about the availability of a bedroom instead of a tatami Room. We were impressed by the prompt arrangement, as we were informed that a bedroom was secured for both nights on the same day. The staff's courteous service during check-in was also excellent. If I may add one suggestion, the public bath felt small. On the day when three groups were using it, it was quite crowded. However, on the second night, with only one group, this was not an issue. The cleanliness was impeccable, making the stay very pleasant.

  • This was my first time staying on Sado Island. The Onsen was amazing and left my skin feeling smooth. The open-air bath was also very relaxing. I stayed for three nights, and the meals were different each time, so I never got bored. The locally grown Koshihikari rice from Sado was incredibly delicious. The staff serving the meals were very kind, making the dining experience enjoyable. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that there was no cleansing product available in the bath area.

Are you familiar with the story of the Sado fox? It is a humorous and charming tale of a farmer from Sado who, when told by a farmer from Echigo that there are no foxes in Sado, insisted there were. When asked what sound they make, he imitated the call of a nightingale, saying "Tsuki Hoshi Hi." At "Lakeside Inn Yoshidaya," our guest rooms offer an atmosphere where you can feel such elegance and charm unique to Sado.
