Hamamatsu’s landmark Hotel offering sparkling night views from the upper floors
Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu is directly connected to the JR Hamamatsu Station East Exit via a moving walkway, just a 3-minute walk. It is part of the Hotel Okura group, renowned for hosting distinguished guests from around the world. This 45-story high-rise city Hotel offers spacious rooms with breathtaking views of Mount Fuji, the Southern Alps, or the Enshu Sea, depending on the direction. The Hotel features a total of 322 guest rooms, including an Upper Premium Floor on the higher levels for an elevated level of comfort. The facility also includes restaurants and a variety of conference and banquet halls.
I stayed here for business and was able to get there from the station without getting wet in the rain. There is a supermarket on the way, and a convenience store right below the Hotel, which was very convenient. I was able to take my time enjoying the great views that only a high-rise Hotel can offer. The bathroom was spacious, and the amenities were well stocked, including cleansing oil and toner. The next morning it was very clear, and I could see all the way out to the distant sea. Overall, I think everything about this Hotel—its interior design and location—was excellent. The staff were also very helpful. Next time, I’d like to relax and enjoy the sky lounge as well.
I stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room, and the sofa’s houndstooth pattern and other classic touches—unlike those at other hotels—made it beautifully furnished, and I had a wonderful time.Just one point: the Room Wi‑Fi often disconnected, so I deducted points only for that. However, if you are visiting Hamamatsu, this is a highly recommended Hotel. Thank you very much.

Located almost in the center of Japan, Hamamatsu City is situated between Tokyo and Osaka, offering excellent transportation access via the Tokaido Shinkansen, Tomei Expressway, and Shin-Tomei Expressway. The hotel is directly connected to the east exit of JR Hamamatsu Station via a "moving walkway," just a 3-minute walk. Additionally, the building's basement features a large parking lot accommodating over 300 vehicles.
Our Hotel will become entirely non-smoking in all guest rooms starting Monday, January 5, 2026.

Direct access via the connecting passageway from the May One Exit (ticket gate open 6:00–21:15), about a 3-minute walk. Even on rainy days, you can reach us with little to no exposure to the rain.
