  Great Stay, Fantastic Place!

  Cannot say enough good things about Ishibekoji Ryugin! Check in was seamless with the keypad, communication was excellent, and the facility was amazing. We stayed in the first floor single bedroom unit and could not have been happier with it. PLENTY of space with separate dining area, living room, and tea area overlooking the garden and Ishibekoji Road. Kitchen area was well appointed and the fridge/stovetop was a nice touch. Bathroom was plenty big with a good sized shower and large jetted tub. Overall facility was in great condition and presented very well. Not to go unmentioned - the location of this Ryokan makes it a bucket list stay. Calm, private road tucked away from the business of Kyoto, but a short couple minute walk to shopping, a few different shrines, and only a minute from taxi pickup. We thoroughly enjoyed checking out the local places to eat and drink. Have already recommended the place to multiple friends, would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!
