Not as good as expected

I booked a corner room, but the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The service felt amateurish; the staff were polite but lacked the know-how expected at this level. There was no basic resort information provided, and despite having Ikyu Diamond benefits, I received no explanation regarding them. I actually had to return to the front desk myself just to claim the amenities I was entitled to. The room itself was large but poorly laid out, making the extra square footage feel wasted. More frustratingly, the lobby bar was under construction during my stay, which was an eyesore and left me with nowhere to grab a drink at night. Overall, I left feeling reluctant to return, but given the excellent location and the lack of better alternatives, I’ll likely end up visiting again. I sincerely hope to see a more upper level of service next time.
